ABSTRAK

Perkembangan teknologi digital menghadirkan adaptasi folklor ke dalam format siniar (podcast). Hal tersebut memberikan pengalaman baru dalam melestarikan folklor sebagai kekayaan tradisi lisan, terutama pada pendengar anak. Penelitian ini mendiskusikan adaptasi folklor berbasis siniar dalam mengoptimalkan nilai didaktik sesuai perkembangan kognitif anak. Studi terdahulu menunjukkan potensi siniar dalam meningkatkan literasi digital dan mempertahankan tradisi lisan, tetapi belum mengeksplorasi implikasinya terhadap perkembangan kognitif anak. Dengan metode analisis isi, penelitian ini mengkaji nilai-nilai didaktik dalam folklor siniar serta hal-hal yang perlu dipertimbangkan dalam mengoptimalkan nilai tersebut sesuai perkembangan kognitif anak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa folklor siniar memiliki keunggulan dalam menstimulasi imajinasi dan memperkaya kosakata anak, tetapi memunculkan persoalan seperti potensi ketergantungan pada gawai dan distraksi keterampilan membaca-menulis. Berdasarkan teori perkembangan kognitif Piaget, folklor siniar paling efektif diperkenalkan pada akhir tahap praoperasional (5-6 tahun) dan semakin sesuai pada tahap operasional konkret dan formal. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan yang seimbang perlu dilakukan dalam mengintegrasikan folklor siniar dengan metode bercerita tradisional untuk memaksimalkan manfaat edukatif dan kultural folklor untuk anak-anak.
